• Own target architecture and medallion patterns
• Own Foundational data platform recommendations around standards, naming, design, technology, etc.
• Define subject‑area taxonomy, data contracts, and RBAC patterns
• Guide observability, security, and retention‑by‑design
• Produce logical/physical models and Source‑to‑Target mappings
• Design identity & matching (deterministic + fuzzy)
• Align models with governance and lineage
• Data provisioning workstream: setup & access strategy, profiling, etc.
