Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Lead Data Architect to design and manage an enterprise data model for scalable healthcare data solutions. You will work across federated hospital networks to implement robust data architectures, ER modeling, data dictionaries, and API specifications that support AI-driven analytics.

The role requires strong SQL and Python skills, deep HL7/FHIR knowledge, and experience with Erwin/Vertabelo/Lucidchart. Collaboration with engineering and clinical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data architecture or enterprise modeling
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
• Expert-level knowledge of 3NF, Dimensional (Star Schema), and Data Vault 2.0 modeling techniques
• Exceptional SQL skills for complex analytical environments
• Proficiency in Python for data profiling and debugging
• Ability to articulate trade-offs between RDBMS, MPP, and NoSQL technologies
• Deep familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and Epic/Cerner data structures
• Proficiency with modeling tools such as Erwin, Vertabelo, or Lucidchart
