Job description

As a Data Architect / Data Model, you will design and manage scalable, secure data architectures to meet business needs, ensure data governance, infrastructure optimization, and diverse data source integration. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data architecture, produce schema diagrams and scripts, adopt emerging technologies, ensure high data quality, and enable analytics for decision‑making.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure data architectures, schemas, and models to support organizational needs and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical data solutions.
• Design and consolidate diverse data sources for seamless integration and accessibility.
• Optimize database performance, storage, and data pipelines to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, evaluate and incorporate advancements in data engineering, cloud platforms, and big data technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/data science or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platforms, ETL, and ingestion protocols.
• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi‑data‑center contexts.
• Strong data modeling experience and knowledge of metadata management, data modeling tools (Erwin, ER Studio, etc.).
• Proficiency with Snowflake.
• Experience with Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Tableau and Power BI.
• Bonus: experience with health care/insurance domain and hands‑on schema design.
