Job summary

Attractivate Consulting Solutions seeks a Business Systems Lead for Transportation & Logistics in Houston. The role starts on-site with a hybrid transition after ramp, reporting to the COO/President. You will optimize processes, drive data integration, and build scalable analytics across operations and finance.

You will lead Tier-1 TMS usage, SQL data pipelines, and data warehousing, partnering with teams to enable data-driven decisions and growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in transportation or logistics systems, including brokerage operations.
• Hands-on with a Tier-1 TMS (McLeod LoadMaster/PowerBroker) with direct SQL access.
• Proven data warehouse and pipeline experience (Azure Synapse/Fabric, Snowflake) and advanced SQL.
• Power BI at the data-model level: star schemas, DAX, security, refresh architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, middleware, and EDI (204/210/214).

About the role

Our customer manages a large and growing volume of complex logistics and operational transactions. They are experiencing rapid growth, and their systems, processes, and data infrastructure are being pushed to their limits. Critical workflows span multiple platforms that were never fully integrated, resulting in manual workarounds, fragmented information, and operational inefficiencies.

What You'll Own

• Assess and optimize core business processes, systems, and workflows across operations and finance.

What you bring

• 7+ years in transportation or logistics systems, including brokerage operations
• Deep hands-on experience with a Tier-1 TMS — McLeod LoadMaster/PowerBroker strongly preferred — including direct SQL access to the underlying database
• Proven data warehouse and pipeline build experience (Azure Synapse/Fabric, Snowflake, or equivalent) and advanced SQL
• Power BI at the data-model level: star schemas, DAX, security, refresh architecture
• Integration experience across REST APIs, middleware, and EDI (204/210/214)
• A track record of automating a manual process and measuring what it saved
• Willingness to spend your first months in the yards and on the phones, learning how this business actually runs
