Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a data architecture professional in Edison, NJ to design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms. The role focuses on Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Engineering stack, Lakehouse architectures, and ERP data ingestion including SAP.

You will work on data governance, RBAC, Purview, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable data solutions in a large enterprise environment. The position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Engineering stack
• Lakehouse, OneLake, Pipelines, Notebooks
• Azure Data Factory / ADLS / Databricks
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Data Lake architecture & design patterns
  • ETL/ELT frameworks and pipeline orchestration
  • PySpark / Spark SQL / Advanced SQL
  • Data Lake / Lakehouse / DWH concepts
  • Data modeling (Star Schema, Fact/Dimension design)
  • Data security (row/column level security concepts)
• Strong experience in Data Lake / Data Warehouse implementations as an Architect
• Experience in data governance, security & access control (RBAC, Purview, etc.)
• Proven experience in enterprise‑scale data platform design
• Experience in CI/CD & DevOps for Data Engineering
• Hands‑on experience working with SAP and multiple ERP systems (Sales & Finance modules preferred) for data ingestion
• Good understanding of:
  • Data mapping (source‑to‑target at attribute level)
  • ERP data structures (master & transactional data)
  • Data analysis and data validation techniques

Base Salary Range

$110,000 - $125,000 per annum
