Job summary

Accelerize 360, Inc. is seeking a Data Architect to design and oversee the data foundations for client engagements in Banking, Insurance, Retail, and Sports. You will shape data structures, integration patterns, and governance to support migrations, integrations, and modernization efforts.

You will work closely with delivery teams to implement scalable, secure architectures across Snowflake, Databricks, and related platforms, while advising on tradeoffs and risk.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data architecture or related field.
• Hands-on Databricks experience required.
• Experience with Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift and lakehouse patterns.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, or Airflow.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end data architectures for client engagements, including data models, integration patterns, and storage/compute strategies.
• Lead technical discovery to assess clients' existing data landscapes and define migration or integration approaches.
• Architect solutions across multiple tech stacks, including Snowflake and Databricks, selecting the right platform for context.
• Define data governance, quality, and security standards for client solutions in regulated industries.
• Partner with Data Engineers and delivery teams to ensure architectures are implemented correctly and scalable.
• Produce architecture docs, diagrams, and specifications for internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Advise on tooling and platform decisions during presales and solutioning, balancing client needs and cost.
• Stay current on evolving data platform capabilities and bring new approaches into delivery.

Job description

A360 is looking for a Data Architect to design and oversee the data foundations behind our client engagements across Banking, Insurance, Retail, and Sports. You'll shape how data is structured, integrated, and governed for clients undertaking migrations, integrations, and modernization initiatives – working closely with delivery teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure data architectures. These solutions will span a variety of technology stacks, including but not limited to Snowflake and Databricks, so comfort moving across platforms rather than specializing in just one is essential.

About You

You think in systems, not just schemas. You can look at a client's messy, disparate data landscape and see the path to a clean, governed, scalable architecture – and you can explain that path clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders. You've worked across more than one data platform and don't get precious about any single tool. You're comfortable being hands‑on with design and documentation while also advising delivery leads on tradeoffs and risk. You care about getting the foundations right because you've seen what happens to projects when they aren't.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end data architectures for client engagements, including data models, integration patterns, and storage/compute strategies
• Lead technical discovery to assess clients' existing data landscapes and define migration or integration approaches
• Architect solutions across a variety of technology stacks, including but not limited to Snowflake and Databricks, selecting the right platform and pattern for each client's context
• Define data governance, quality, and security standards for client solutions, particularly for regulated industries like Banking and Insurance
• Partner with Data Engineers and delivery teams to ensure architectural designs are implemented correctly and remain scalable post‑launch
• Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications for both internal delivery teams and client stakeholders
• Advise on tooling and platform decisions during presales and solutioning, balancing client preference, cost, and technical fit
• Stay current on evolving data platform capabilities and identify opportunities to bring new approaches into A360's delivery methodology

Ideal Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks (required), plus at least one additional major cloud data platform (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) – including practical experience with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and lakehouse architecture patterns
• Experience with the underlying cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) supporting modern data platform deployments, and familiarity with data integration/migration tooling such as dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, or Airflow
• Comfortable mentoring and upskilling engineers with adjacent platform experience (e.g., Snowflake‑only backgrounds) as part of building out multi‑platform delivery capability
• Expertise in designing and building data warehouses, lakehouses, and master data management (MDM) solutions
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data governance practices
• Experience architecting solutions for regulated industries (Banking, Insurance) a plus
• Familiarity with data integration and migration projects, including legacy system modernization
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Experience working in a consulting or client‑services environment preferred
