Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a seasoned data architect and modeler with a strong OLTP focus to contribute immediately in a telecommunications data environment.

Ideal candidates will discuss domain management, meriting experience with product catalogs, network identifiers, and BSS/OSS integrations while leveraging Oracle PL/SQL and Exadata capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and data modeling with emphasis on OLTP systems.
• Hands-on data modeling and ability to discuss domain management and mart-based version control.
• Oracle expertise with advanced PL/SQL development.
• Ability to facilitate requirements gathering with business stakeholders.
• Telecommunications / mobile domain experience.
• Experience modeling data for product catalog management (offers, rate plans, features, entitlements).
• Experience with network/subscriber identifiers lifecycle (MSISDN, IMSI, ICCID/SIM, IMEI, porting).
• Familiarity with BSS/OSS ecosystems and integrations.
• Nice-to-have: TM Forum SID familiarity and telecom canonical data models; BSS platforms like Amdocs/Netcracker/ Ericsson/CSG.
• Nice-to-have: Oracle Exadata, GoldenGate; schema change automation; capacity planning.

Job description

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture and data modeling, with the majority focused on OLTP (transactional) systems.
• Hands-on Data Modeler with current experience and the ability to discuss:
  • Domain management
  • Complete Compare
  • Mart-based version control
  • Understanding when and why to denormalize OLTP schemas
• Oracle expertise, including:
  • Advanced PL/SQL development
• Ability to facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Telecommunications / Mobile Domain Expertise
• The ideal candidate already understands the structure and relationships within wireless operational data and can quickly contribute without extensive domain onboarding.
• Experience modeling data within the following areas is highly preferred:
  • Product catalog management:
    • Offers
    • Rate plans
    • Features
    • Entitlements
  • Network and subscriber identifiers and their lifecycle management:
    • MSISDN
    • IMSI
    • ICCID/SIM
    • IMEI
    • Number portability (port-in / port-out)
  • BSS/OSS ecosystems and integrations
• Preferred:
  • Familiarity with TM Forum SID or other telecom canonical data models
  • Experience with commercial BSS platforms such as Amdocs, Netcracker, Ericsson, CSG, or similar telecommunications platforms
• Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Oracle Exadata
  • Oracle GoldenGate or comparable replication technologies and their impact on schema design
  • Supertype/subtype modeling patterns
  • Schema change automation and version control best practices
  • Capacity planning and scalability modeling for growing transactional systems

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $44.85/hour - $70.07/hour.
