Job summary

Avalore, LLC seeks a Data Architect to support new system capabilities and enhancements across multiple applications in the customer’s cloud environment. You will leverage AWS, HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL to design robust data ecosystems.

The role requires active security clearance, strong Python and ETL skills, and experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS. You will communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences and work independently in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Active security clearance with appropriate polygraph.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and data management.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Proven experience with AWS, HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with Python and ETL pipelines.
• Experience integrating data flows with Niagra Falls.
• Experience communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job description

The Data Architect will support the requirements for new system capabilities and enhancements for multiple applications in the customers’ cloud computing environment.

• Active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
• Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and data management.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple OS environments including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud environments, including AWS.
• Demonstrated experience with development environments including AWS, Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS), Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Demonstrated experience conducting data processing activities.
• Experience working with Python
• Demonstrated experience building executing ETL pipelines
• Demonstrated experience with integrating data flows with industry standard systems such as Niagra Falls
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be a proactive problem solver
• Experience providing clear and concise communications for both technical and non-technical audiences

Desired:

• Knowledge of targeting workflows, tools and environments
• Experience with Large Language Models and agentic workflows.
• Experience with graphical databases such as Neo4J
• Experience working with a hard target mission area.

Work Environment:

• Moderate noise (i.e.business office with computers,phoneand printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
