The Data and Reporting Professional 2 generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The work assignments are varied and often require interpretation and independent decision-making.

The Data and Reporting Professional 2 integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements.

Role Overview

  • Programs and maintains report forms, dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals.
  • Creates specifications for reports based on business requests. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Makes decisions regarding work methods, sometimes in ambiguous situations, with minimal guidance.
  • Follows established guidelines and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience with data programming languages like SQL, R, and Python for data wrangling
  • 3+ years of experience with report development, automation, scheduling, and self-service tools like Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience with data management practices to ensure data quality and stewardship
  • Experience developing and communicating data literacy artifacts for decision-making support
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience in Financial Services or Healthcare industry
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
