Job summary

Wipfli in Minneapolis is seeking an information systems/analytics-focused undergraduate for a consulting internship. You will analyze data, design dashboards, and support data management while learning from experienced mentors.

Gain hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik across industries like Insurance, Health Care, Construction, and Manufacturing. This role is hybrid and US-based.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Preferred 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Qlik preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build and foster professional business relationships.

• Analysis, design and implementation of Business Intelligence systems, enabling our clients to turn data into meaningful information to better serve critical business decisions
• Create compelling dashboards to communicate insights effectively
• Utilize tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik and other for data visualization projects
• Assist in the collection and organization of datasets from various sources
• Alongside senior mentors assist with client data management needs
• Business analysis and project management associated with industry software solutions in Insurance, Health Care, Construction and Manufacturing organizations
• Proactively engage in training and learning opportunities to enhance your related

This role requires a hybrid work arrangement. At Wipfli, hyrbid work is defined as associates regularly working 2-3 days a week in a Wipfli office or at client sites. The client sites can vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on the industry alignment. Scheduled meetings at the client and in the office require in-person attendance.
