Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Project Analytics & Insights Engineer II for the AI & Data team in Washington, DC. You will provide data analytics, visualization, and reporting support to enhance internal operations, building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and related BI tools.

The role requires 2+ years in data analysis, data visualization, and ETL, with proficiency in SQL, Python, and Databricks. Hybrid work, DHS Public Trust clearance, and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to obtain DHS Public Trust clearance.
• Hybrid schedule—onsite 3-4 days/week in Washington, D.C.
• 2+ years in data analysis, modeling, management, visualization, and automation.
• 2+ years developing dashboards/reports.
• 2+ years with Excel and BI tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• 2+ years with SQL, Python, or similar.
• 2+ years with Databricks or comparable platform.
• 2+ years supporting ETL, data integration, or data management infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Translate business questions into actionable insights for Executive Branch stakeholders.
• Prepare, integrate, analyze data with Databricks and Palantir Foundry.
• Design scalable data management infrastructure to support analytics.
• Automate ETL to streamline data preparation for reporting.
• Model data for efficient, maintainable reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics requirements.
• Perform data validation and quality checks for accurate reporting.
• Document data sources and transformation logic.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency.
