Job summary

Petra Funds Group is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst to build and operate the firm’s data infrastructure under the Head of Portfolio Management. You will create and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reports that inform fund performance and attribution.

This role requires solid SQL, experience with data warehouses, and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. A bachelor's degree and a data-first mindset are essential; a hybrid Boston-based position offers strong growth and notable benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in data analytics/BI or data engineering support.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Solid SQL and data warehouse familiarity.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI/Tableau.
• Exposure to data transformation tools (dbt) and scripting (Python, VBA).
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and transformation logic (SQL, dbt)
• Load, refresh, and validate data across data warehouse and source systems
• Develop and maintain data models and mapping logic
• Build and maintain reports/dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)
• Produce recurring daily/weekly/monthly reports and ensure timely delivery
• Run data-quality checks and reconciliations
• Support system implementations, migrations, and data mappings
• Assist testing/validation for new systems
• Develop automation (Python, SQL, VBA, Power Automate)
• Document pipelines and processes
