The WCL Group is seeking a Data & Analytics Developer II - Data Scientist in Greenville, South Carolina. This hybrid role combines data science, analytics, and IT collaboration to turn data into actionable insights for project planning and execution.

You will analyze data from SAP, Salesforce, Databricks, and Power BI, build ML models for demand forecasting, and create Python data pipelines to support forecasting and reports for leadership across global teams.

Qualifications

• Must-have Python for data analysis and ML development.
• SQL: querying, joining, and interpreting complex queries.
• Scenario planning and forecasting models development.
• Ability to translate data findings into business insights for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from SAP, Salesforce, Databricks, and Power BI to identify patterns and improvements.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and Operations leaders to determine data needs.
• Clean and validate large datasets (often 100k+ rows) across platforms and fix data defects.
• Build and validate ML models for demand forecasting and scenario planning.
• Create Python data pipelines for ETL, model training, and automated forecasting.
• Develop what-if models to test business assumptions and track project progress in Primavera (P6).
• Explain findings to technical and non-technical audiences and document model performance.
