Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS in neuroscience, psychology, or engineering preferred.
• CITI certification within 30 days of transfer or hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days for Cognitive Neuroscience dept.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of stimuli and development of test procedures.
• Assists in research tool preparation, data collection, and procedures in studies with animals or humans.
• Complies with safety procedures and maintains documentation.
• Maintains lab safety standards and detailed records of test conditions and results.
• Assists in calibration, maintenance and cleaning of lab equipment and workspace.
• Assists in data collection and data analysis; reports findings to Principal Investigator.
• Design, construction, and maintenance of electronic lab devices including PCs and audio equipment.
• Assists in recruitment, scheduling, and testing in research studies.
• Uses computers to analyze and plot results of experiments.
