Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Manager, Data Analytics to bridge business teams and technical developers, modernize automations, and deliver self-service analytics for pricing, finance, and manufacturer relations.

You will spend time with stakeholders to map workflows, define requirements, and write production Python to automate the processes, while building dashboards and data products used across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Strong communication skills, both directions: you can extract requirements from business teams who don't speak technical, and you can explain your solutions to people who don't write code
• Skilled in SQL with hands-on experience building dashboards in at least one major BI platform (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
• Strong Python skills, not just scripting, but writing clean, maintainable code for ETL, API integrations, and automation
• Skilled in working with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or similar), not just familiarity but hands-on delivery experience
• Solid understanding of data modeling and BI best practices
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and where they practically apply to reporting and business workflows

Responsibilities

• Work directly with business and operational teams to understand their workflows, pain points, and priorities.
• Translate those into analytics and automation solutions.
• Build and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting for stakeholders.
• Write production Python to automate processes, build data pipelines, and replace legacy bots.
• Support major platform migrations by updating dashboards and data products.
