Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA seeks a Data Analysis Manager in the Office of the Chief Data Officer, Central Analytics and Reporting. You will partner with leaders to define, standardize, and deliver data risk metrics and dashboards across the enterprise.

Lead a team of junior analysts, drive analytics and AI-driven insights, and shape data governance in a fast-paced environment. Strong BI, Python/SQL, and AWS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field plus at least 6 years of data analytics experience.
• Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of analytics experience; degree to be obtained by start date.
• At least 4 years of professional data analytics work experience.
• At least 4 years of programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Define, standardize, and publish enterprise data risk metrics across LOBs.
• Build dashboards and data products for data management visibility.
• Monitor metrics, identify risks and trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Translate evolving data policies into meaningful metrics and monitoring.
• Use AI to automate and transform data risk metrics creation and usage.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Present insights to VP+ leaders and executives across Capital One.
• Collaborate across business units to improve data governance.
