Job summary

The New York State Department of Health seeks a Data Analyst 3 to lead the DataMart and Health Home Tracking System units within the Bureau of Process and Product Management. You will supervise, prioritize work, review analyses, and ensure data solutions align with the bureau’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Nine years of experience in data visualization, and statistical models and data mining tools.
• Substitution: an associate’s degree may substitute for two years of general experience; a bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years; a master’s may substitute for one year; a Ph.D. may substitute for two years.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing dataMarts and the Health Home Tracking System (HHTS) development, testing, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Developing subject matter expertise to support DDSA and Health Home analytics.
• Cultivating dialogue with stakeholders to align organizational goals.
• Reviewing analytics, prioritization, and release schedules.
• Conducting data quality checks to identify and correct defects.
