Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in Denver, CO is seeking a Data Analyst Intern for a summer-to-fall program from June 2027 to September 2027. You will work with the Data Analytics team to collect, analyze, and validate client tax data and support solution development for external clients and internal projects.

Qualifications

• Working toward a bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and MS Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Handles routine client tax data related questions and works with client to collect necessary information, understanding the billing systems and processes that the data represents.
• Completes analysis of indirect tax and regulatory data to determine inconsistencies or problems with underlying data under limited supervision.
• Gains exposure to a variety of client situations to develop business skills.
• Participates in the collection and analysis of data using a variety of data tools.
• Together with the Data Analytics team, supports the building and implementing solutions for external clients and internal projects.
• Assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Works under the guidance of a variety of Data Analytics team members, gain exposure to developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Gains experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques.
• Uses existing processes and tools to monitor and analyze solution performance and accuracy and communicate findings to team members and end users.
