Job summary

AMD is seeking a motivated Data Analyst intern/co‑op in Colorado to analyze and organize raw data, craft proofs of concepts, and implement solutions with visualization techniques. You’ll contribute to data analysis tasks and learn to build data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to reveal business insights.

You’ll create reports, presentations, and dashboards using analytics tools while collaborating with teams on real projects that impact millions.

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a United States based University into a Undergrad program majoring in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Computer Science or a related field.
• If you have knowledge / experience with any of the following technical skills (or related areas) and are enthusiastic about this role, we strongly encourage you to apply – Python, SQL, R, Java; Data processing, data engineering and/or data science; Kubernetes, Tableau, PowerBi, data analytics; Microsoft cloud services like Azure and AKS; Snowflake, Oracle, SQL server data platform; Software development (including design, implementation, testing, and other related work); Database design and data modeling.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize raw data to craft proofs of concepts, prototype, and implement solutions using relevant analysis methods and visualization techniques.
• Be involved in data analysis assignments and report results; train to build data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to generate business foresights.
• Build reports, presentations and craft dashboards using data visualization tools.
