Job summary

Chartiin is seeking a data-savvy product insights analyst to turn raw data into clear metrics and dashboards. You will help define KPIs, build charts, and run lightweight analyses to inform product decisions. You’ll participate in customer calls to observe usage and sharpen analytical instincts.

You’ll also instrument events, maintain a metric dictionary, and translate findings into concise slides or Looms for stakeholders across product and GTM teams. Collaboration across time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• Comfort with spreadsheets or basic SQL; curiosity about BI.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical partners.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Snowflake, or Postgres.
• Based in New York City or able to collaborate across US time zones.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn quickly.
• Exposure to Python/R notebooks or visualization tools is helpful.
• Comfort summarizing findings in slides or short write-ups.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate core KPIs.
• Explore data; create charts and dashboards.
• Support ad-hoc analysis for product and GTM teams.
• Clean and validate datasets; spot data quality issues.
• Help instrument basic product events and track adoption.
• Draft lightweight notebooks/reports to share insights.
• Document findings and present results to stakeholders.
• Shadow user research sessions and translate observations into metrics questions.
• Maintain a metric dictionary so the team speaks the same language.
