Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions is seeking a Data Analytics Intern to support the Business Analytics team. You will collect, clean, and analyze company data, build Tableau reports, and develop ETL processes using SQL and Python under supervision.

This remote internship is aligned with a Master of Science in Business Analytics and involves up to 20 hours per week, with no standard employee benefits, and an emphasis on practical modeling, dashboarding, and data-driven decision making.

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data preparation and analysis.
• Experience building reports or dashboards in Tableau or a similar BI tool.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts and with statistical or machine learning methods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain analytical results clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs using Tableau and other BI tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
• Create ad hoc reports and conduct root cause analysis to support business decisions.
• Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Develop and support ETL processes and automate recurring data and reporting tasks using Python.
• Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to support analytics initiatives.
• Support predictive analytics, machine learning models, and business performance monitoring.
• Document business rules, metric definitions, and analytical processes.
• Present findings and recommendations to business and leadership teams.

Data Analytics Intern

$30/hr

The Data Analytics Intern supports Trulite’s Business Analytics team by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing company data and turning it into the reports, dashboards, and analysis the business uses to make decisions. Working under the supervision of the Business Analytics Manager, the intern builds and maintains Tableau reports and dashboards, develops ETL processes, automates data preparation and reporting using SQL and Python, and assists with predictive and machine learning models.

This internship is practical training directly related to a Master of Science in Business Analytics, applying the data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization skills developed in that program.

Key Responsibilities

This is a fully remote position. The intern must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace, and will be scheduled for up to 20 hours per week on a schedule agreed with the supervisor. The position is not eligible for standard employee benefits except as required by law.
