Job summary

ClearPlan seeks an entry-level Power BI trainee to bridge data analytics and client delivery. You will learn to build reports, models, and dashboards while supporting data pipelines and customer onboarding across multiple teams.

The role blends internal analytics work with customer-facing analytics and Power Platform delivery. Training lasts about four weeks, with potential Huntsville, AL or Westlake, TX locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to learn unfamiliar systems.
• Foundational familiarity with Excel, SQL, databases, data visualization, statistics, programming, or related areas.
• Ability to read, understand, and modify existing code, scripts, queries, formulas, or configurations.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-based environment.
• Customer-service mindset and willingness to assist with support, documentation, training, and coordination.
• Hybrid work environment and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain internal Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Assist with data pipelines and Microsoft Fabric components configuration and monitoring.
• Gather requirements, analyze source data, and translate business questions into analytics solutions.
• Support customer-facing Power BI, data analysis, and Power Platform solutions.
• Create data transformations, models, calculations, and related artifacts.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and customer support activities.
• Develop user guides, documentation, and knowledge resources.
• Provide training for customers and internal users as needed.
• Support onboarding and ongoing communications for ClearSync engagements.
