Job summary

Hillenbrand is seeking a Vice President of Data & Analytics to provide executive leadership for data strategy, governance, and AI initiatives, while actively engaging in platform work with the team. This role treats data and AI as strategic assets to enable informed decisions and growth.

The ideal candidate will lead a global team, shape the operating model, and drive enterprise-wide data modernization, including lakehouse architectures and governance across SAP, Oracle, and ERP integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years analytics leadership and data administration experience.
• Expertise in data governance, data architecture, BI platforms, and cloud data technologies.
• Strong executive communication and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global data & analytics organization and set strategic direction.
• Be a hands-on leader, contributing to key platform work while mentoring the team.
• Establish enterprise data governance, data quality, and access policies with security/compliance.
• Drive AI initiatives, data product governance, and self-service analytics growth.
