Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, including building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
  • Experience with data warehousing, big data technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Must-Have Skills

  1. Advanced Data Engineering & Statistical Modeling: Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets and build statistical models to generate actionable insights.
  2. Proficiency in Programming Languages: Strong skills in Python, SQL, or Scala for data pipeline development, data manipulation, and analysis.
  3. Machine Learning Implementation: Experience designing and deploying machine learning algorithms to address business challenges.

This position is part of the Storage Team within Infrastructure, focused on scaling data center operations in 2026. The opportunity offers a truly unique experience—working with Meta’s data centers and contributing to the expansion of storage capabilities at an unprecedented scale.
