As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will be pivotal in shaping the company’s data function. You will build and maintain data models, improve data collection and reporting processes, and work cross-functionally to ensure reliable, accurate, and up-to-date data is available for decision-making. Your role will involve writing SQL for ETL flows, collaborating with engineering teams to evolve the data stack, and advocating for a data-driven culture throughout the organization. Accountabilities:
  • Design, create, and maintain data models that capture key business metrics to inform operational and strategic decisions.
  • Write optimized SQL for ETL processes, improving data collection and reporting workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with engineering teams to evolve and maintain the data stack, including data warehouse, ETL processes, and BI tools.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Evangelize a data-driven mentality and promote best practices for data usage across the organization.
Minimum Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in an analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence role.
  • Solid experience with data architecture, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Proficiency in writing high-performance, legible, and optimized SQL.
  • Experience with at least one BI platform (Tableau, Looker, Sigma, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across teams and levels.
