Working with academic units, central offices, researchers, and IT partners, you will translate institutional needs into robust, scalable data structures while complying with governance and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in CS, IS, data science, or related field.
• Strong SQL skills to query large databases, validate data, implement logic, and analyze results.
• Excellent knowledge of databases, data flows, and data manipulation in operational/analytic contexts.
• Ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources into actionable insights.
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders in higher-education or enterprise settings.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops, codes, validates, and implements relational databases and integrated data structures for analytics.
• Collaborates with partners to collect requirements and refine business logic.
• Collaborates with technical teams to locate, clean, and orchestrate source data.
• Translates business logic into scalable database solutions for descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
• Designs database structures that support meaningful data visualizations and interactive tools.
• Adheres to data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements and documents processes.
• Performs ad hoc data requests and supports special projects as needed.
