Job summary

EY's Data and Intelligence Delivery internship in the USA offers hands-on experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support client decisions within the Assurance group. You will learn analytics toolsets, work with diverse teams, and contribute to data integrity and insights across industries.

The program includes extensive on-the-job training, exposure to projects from banking to energy, and the potential to transition to full-time roles.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
A strong critical thinking skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employer sponsorship, now and in the future.
Curious about data, analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technology.
Comfortable learning new tools and solving unfamiliar problems.
Detail‑oriented, especially when reviewing data, testing outputs, and documenting work.

Responsibilities

Collect, combine, and explore data to create insights that support client decision‑making processes.
Perform quality checks on data deliverables to ensure high‑quality outputs for clients.
Proactively communicate project and task status to various stakeholders.
Develop strong relationships among team members and build productive working relationships with clients to deliver exceptional client service.
Utilize technology to continually learn and develop skills in data analytics and visualization.
Collaborate with team members to think critically and assist in the development and integration of enhanced policies, processes, and technologies that will address clients’ needs.
