Miller-Cooper- is seeking a Consultant in Chicago to lead data analytics engagements, transform data into actionable insights, and drive measurable business outcomes. You will guide client discovery, design scalable analytics solutions, and collaborate with business leaders, engineers, and project stakeholders.

The role requires 3-5 years in data analytics or BI, strong SQL, and hands-on BI tool experience across Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Domo, and Qlik.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, CS, Finance, or Accounting).
• 3-5 years of data analytics, BI, or related experience.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Domo, Qlik).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including leadership-facing presentations.

ConsultantLocation: Chicago, IL / Hybrid Department: Data & AnalyticsEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role:As a Consultant within our Data & Analytics Advisory Services practice, you will serve as a trusted partner to clients, helping them transform data into actionable insights and measurable business outcomes. You will lead client engagements from discovery through delivery while collaborating with business leaders, technical teams, and project stakeholders.In this role, you will:Lead client discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business objectives, reporting needs, operational challenges, and success criteria.Design and document analytics, reporting, and data solutions that align business requirements with scalable data architectures, modern reporting platforms, and measurable business outcomes.Manage and own successful delivery of engagement deliverables, project activities, and client expectations to ensure successful execution, clear communication, and high levels of client satisfaction.Coordinate cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, project managers, and client stakeholders to drive collaboration and successful project delivery.Analyze business processes and data challenges to develop practical recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases that support strategic decision-making and operational improvement.Support project planning activities including estimate development, statement of work (SOW) creation, scope definition, risk identification, resource planning, and timeline management.Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure delivery quality through effective governance, testing oversight, and stakeholder communication.Contribute to business development efforts through proposal support, solution demonstrations, project estimation, client presentations, and participation in sales pursuits.Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts by providing guidance, sharing best practices, reviewing deliverables, and supporting professional development.What You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related field3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a closely related field.Strong SQL proficiency (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization).Hands-on experience with multiple BI/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, Looker, Domo, or Qlik).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of translating business questions into data-driven answers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership.Experience leading client-facing initiativesPreferred:Analytics consulting or advisory servicesExperience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).Familiarity with ETL/data integration tools and API-based data connectors. The salary range estimated below is inclusive of all departments within the Firm, and offered salaries may vary within the given range depending on the specific department. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this level is $100,000-$115,000, not including discretionary annual bonus and other competitive benefits.
