Job summary

State Street Corporation in Massachusetts is seeking an entry-level data analyst/data engineer for the GTS Control Tower team. The role collects, transforms, and analyzes data to deliver insights and supports collaboration across analytics, governance, and engineering groups.

You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, build semantic data models using DAX, and perform ETL with Python and Power Query. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and a portfolio with data projects are required;

Qualifications

• Online portfolio with examples exhibiting analysis skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query, M, ETL, Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in a data analytics, data science, computer science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports communicating KPIs and insights.
• Build semantic data models with relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX; perform ETL with Python and Power Query.
• Integrate data from SQL databases, Azure services, Excel and other systems into reliable datasets.
• Tune data models and DAX to optimize performance and user experience.
• Support governance through RLS and Power BI workspace management; collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into analytics solutions.
