Grant Thornton is seeking a Data & Analytics Associate Director to join GTech and lead enterprise data pipelines for acquired-company integrations, ensuring scalable, secure, and governed data solutions across the firm.

The role partners with data architecture and business teams to translate requirements into reliable data pipelines, supports go-live readiness, and promotes engineering discipline while driving analytics and reporting capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, data architecture, analytics engineering, application integration, or related enterprise technology roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data pipelines for integrated systems from acquired companies.
• Build data ingestion, transformation, validation, and archival patterns aligned with enterprise architecture and governance.
• Implement Snowflake archival solutions to support historical reporting and data retention.
• Partner with data architecture and enterprise architecture teams to ensure designs follow approved patterns and security standards.
• Collaborate with M&A integration, application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to define source-system requirements and timelines.
• Translate business, technical, and integration requirements into data pipeline designs, data mappings, and deployment plans.
• Develop and maintain scalable data engineering processes for batch, incremental, and event-driven data movement across platforms.
• Establish data quality checks, reconciliation routines, and monitoring to ensure production-ready pipelines.
• Support data migration and archival activities, coordinating extracts, transformation, and loading with internal and external teams.
• Work with analytics stakeholders to ensure data assets support BI, AI, and reporting use cases.
• Create technical documentation including data flow diagrams and runbooks.
• Identify opportunities to improve data engineering patterns, automation, and cost efficiency.
