Georgia Power is seeking a Business Support Analyst to provide analytical support to Power Delivery construction leadership, monitor project costs, and analyze spending trends. The role requires liaison with field personnel, Supply Chain, contractors and partners to improve back-office operations, reporting, and decision-making.
Responsibilities include supporting systems like Maximo, CAMP and Oracle, creating reports, and helping drive efficiency across multiple business functions.
The Power Delivery Business Support Team plays a critical role in supporting the administrative, financial, and technology functions associated with the construction of Georgia Power transmission and distribution assets including, but not limited to, Transmission Construction, GRID, Distribution Construction, Network Underground, Make Ready, Asset Management, and Centralized Engineering.
The Business Support Analyst will provide analytical support to the Power Delivery Construction leadership teams by monitoring project costs, analyzing spending trends, and providing insights that support operational and financial decision-making across the Construction organization. Field time with construction crews may be necessary to understand work practices, processes and job requirements in order to assist with back-office operations. This role partners closely with internal Technology and Digital teams to support business systems, reporting processes, and operational improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted business partner by establishing effective working relationships with field personnel, Supply Chain, contractors, vendors, and leaders across multiple levels of the organization.
The position will be filled at an exempt level with the actual level depending on the knowledge, skills and abilities of the successful candidate.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
