A private equity firm located in North Dallas is looking for a Data Analytics Analyst to join its growing team. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting real estate market data to support investment decisions, asset management strategies, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in data analytics, financial modeling, and an understanding of commercial real estate markets and trends. This position will report to the Chief Operations Officer.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets related to commercial real estate assets, including lease data, market comps, occupancy, rental rates, NOI, cap rates, and sales transactions.
• Maintain overall database and data warehouse for the company.
• Collaborate with investment, asset management, and finance teams to support property acquisition, disposition, and portfolio optimization strategies.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across real estate portfolios.
• Work with third-party data providers (e.g., CoStar) and internal databases to integrate and validate data sources.
• Develop and maintain predictive models for market trends, rent growth, occupancy forecasting, and valuations.
• Ad hoc projects.

Skills & Experience

• 3 to 5 years professional experience in Investment Banking or Real Estate.
• CFA or Master’s degree an asset.
• Extensive modeling experience, advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel & PowerPoint, Argus Enterprise).
• Highly self-motivated, accountable and driven, results oriented.
• Highly analytical and process-oriented, strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Highly personable, ability to naturally lead calls with banks, debt funds, joint venture partners and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
