Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data science consultant to join our AI & Data team, supporting federal government initiatives. You will design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions using Tableau, and lead data cleaning with SQL, Python, and Databricks to enable analytics-driven decisions.

The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and a minimum of three years of professional experience in data analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration.
• US citizenship is contractually required.
• Must be willing and able to undergo a federal background check.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Active Databricks Data Analyst Associate or related certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using Tableau.
• Leading and reviewing data cleaning scripts using tools such as Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools used in operational and strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and improved data handling, and contribute to implementation efforts.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver AI/analytics use cases, translating business needs into scalable data science solutions.
• Focus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
• Support business development (RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers), internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
