Job summary

System One is seeking a Data Analyst with Interoperability to join our healthcare analytics team. The role focuses on analyzing, profiling, and validating data across clinical, claims, member, and provider systems to support interoperable data exchange.

Responsibilities include defining source-to-target mappings for HL7 v2, FHIR, CCDA, and X12 EDI, and collaborating with integration engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into concrete data solutions.

Qualifications

• Healthcare data analysis experience with interoperability focus.
• Familiarity with FHIR, CCDA, HL7 v2 standards.
• Strong SQL skills across large datasets.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake or similar platforms.

Job Title: Data Analyst with Interoperability

Location: various locations in US

Type: Permanent Full Time

Work Model: Hybrid - onsite and remote

Responsibilities

• Analyze, profile, and validate source and target data across clinical, claims, member, and provider systems to support interoperable data exchange.
• Define and maintain source to target mappings and transformation rules for HL7 v2, FHIR, CCD/C CDA, and X12 EDI standards.
• Partner with integration engineers, clinical SMEs, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear data and interface specifications.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in Healthcare Data Analysis with Healthcare interoperability experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards such as FHIR, CCDA, HL7 v2, and related interoperability frameworks.
• Strong business analysis and data analysis experience.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries across large datasets.
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Teradata, Snowflake, AWS Athena, or similar analytical environments.
• Ability to perform data profiling, data mapping, data quality analysis, and root cause investigation.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable data solutions.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
