Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering, Houston, TX, is seeking a Data Analyst (Business Operations Manager) to support NASA Environmental Support Services at Johnson Space Center. The role focuses on managing waste, procurement, vendor, cost, and operational data to enable cost accounting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in waste data management and procurement tracking.
• Ability to summarize complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Experience maintaining detailed cost, vendor, procurement, or environmental records with accuracy and traceability.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet-based analysis, data tracking, reporting, and document-management tools.
• Ability to reconcile multiple data sources and produce timely management reports and invoices.
• Willingness to meet site access, security, safety, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage waste data, procurement coordination, vendor information, cost records and supporting documentation for regulated waste services.
• Implement and maintain data-tracking processes for the DSSI Waste Management Program, including expenditures and direct costs.
• Track regulated waste costs from generation through onsite management, transport, and offsite disposal.
• Allocate direct and indirect costs by generator, organization, project, or activity with rationale for allocations.
• Reconcile waste disposal facility and vendor charges against records and invoices.
• Compile monthly invoices and prepare cost reports for prior month and upcoming two months.
