Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst / Visualization Consultant in the McLean, VA area to transform operational and infrastructure data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards and automated workflows using Power BI, Tableau, and the Power Platform, supporting high-visibility programs and stakeholder communication.

You will work with stakeholders to translate needs into analytics, develop dashboards, and streamline processes with automation.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1+ year of experience in data analysis, reporting, BI, data visualization, automation, or app development.
• Experience developing dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience developing workflow automations using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a client-facing consulting environment.

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• One (1) or more years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, data visualization, automation, or application development.
• Experience developing dashboards or visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Experience developing workflow applications and automations using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a client-facing consulting environment.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience with SQL, Excel, Power Query, or other data preparation tools.
• Working knowledge of data preparation, validation, analysis, visualization, and workflow design.
• Ability to translate business requirements into dashboards, applications, or automated workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience developing interactive dashboards and performance reports.
• Familiarity with financial, operational, infrastructure, or performance data.
• Experience supporting public-sector organizations.
• Familiarity with data-quality checks and repeatable reporting processes.
• Experience working in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.
