Base pay range

$39.00/hr - $61.00/hr

Job Description

The Staff level Technical Data Analyst position focuses on delivering impactful solutions within a clinical or business area. The analyst supports management in Radiology/Imaging Services, regularly collaborating with stakeholders to provide updates, set priorities, and establish timelines. They ensure data integrity, generate insights through data exploration, report development, and visual storytelling. They are part of the Clinical Shared Services analytics team, developing technical products aligned with Intermountain’s strategic initiatives.

This team is composed of professionals with deep clinical and technical expertise, working to develop and deploy world-class data analytics. The analyst partners with clinical and business leaders to support Intermountain Healthcare’s mission to promote health and well-being.

The role involves understanding radiology/imaging data, providing high-quality analytic deliverables, and fostering collaboration to enhance services. It also includes advancing technical skills through ongoing learning.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytics-related field (statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics) with two years of relevant data analysis experience, or
  • Bachelor's degree in another field with four years of relevant experience. Experience without a related degree will be considered if skills are robust.
Plus Skills
  • Intermediate SQL, database design, data modeling, and data structures
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards (Tableau, Cognos)
  • Proficiency with office applications
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to acquire healthcare data expertise
  • Lifelong learner with collaborative mindset
  • Comfort working in scaled agile teams (SAFe)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare data, especially radiology/imaging data
  • Experience with Epic, Azure Databricks, and ServiceNow
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting or standing for long periods while working on a computer or phone

Work Details
  • 40 hours/week
  • Hourly range: $39.18 - $61.67
