Job summary

Nasdaq in Philadelphia is seeking an entry‑level market regulation analyst to support the Market Regulation team. You will monitor trading activity, assist with surveillance reviews, and help keep markets fair, orderly, and transparent.

You'll gain hands-on experience with data analysis, learn regulatory processes, and collaborate with a talented team in a fast-paced financial environment. Hybrid in-office schedule three days a week, with learning-focused development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a regulated, fast-paced financial environment.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in data, trading activity, and market behavior.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborative teamwork.
• Basic proficiency in data tools such as Excel; familiarity with data querying or analysis is a plus.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; or up to 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a regulated, fast‑paced financial environment.

• Strong communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to work well within a collaborative team.

Nice to Have

• Experience or coursework related to securities markets, financial regulation, or compliance.
• Exposure to data tools or query languages used in analysis and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when reviewing large datasets.

This position is located in Philadelphia, PA (FMC Tower) and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in‑office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
