Job summary

Alchemy is seeking a Data Analyst to support our supply chain and logistics operations from our Bloomington, IN on-site facility. This entry‑level role focuses on delivering accurate reporting, data integrity, and actionable insights to cross‑functional teams.

You will develop recurring reports and dashboards, analyze large datasets, and monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery and inventory turns. A Bachelor's in data analytics or related field and proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Tableau are

  • Ability to work with large datasets and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment where priorities may shift quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and automate recurring reports and dashboards that support daily supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, reports, and operational workflows.
  • Support inventory management, transportation performance, warehouse operations, and demand planning through data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, finance, and IT teams to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turns, transportation cost metrics, and warehouse productivity.
  • Assist in root-cause analysis for operational issues and help develop corrective action recommendations.
  • Document reporting processes, data definitions, and analytical methodologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence.

Summary

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in supporting our supply chain and logistics operations by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable reporting.
