Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiators. As a Data Analyst/Statistician, you will support program integrity and contribute to expanding government programs. Your role involves supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services by analyzing drug-related payment and remittance data, including stakeholder disputes and complaints, within Medicare to support the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program established under the Inflation Reduction Act.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct complex analytic studies using statistical techniques on healthcare data to support decision-making.
  2. Present findings using charts, tables, and graphs for easy interpretation.
  3. Create and maintain statistical and analytic code using tools such as SAS, Stata, R, etc.
  4. Apply statistical modeling techniques to analyze pricing behaviors and stakeholder activities.
  5. Ensure analysis quality through validation, data integrity, and error checking.
  6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to produce high-quality outcomes.
  7. Prepare and deliver presentations to team members, leadership, and clients as needed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, mathematics, or related field; master's preferred.
  • At least five years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or private healthcare data.
  • Proficiency in SAS, Stata, and R.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical methods and techniques.
  • Experience in summarizing and presenting complex findings.

Desired Skills:

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of Medicare payment policies.

The salary range is $114,750 - $155,250, based on experience and location.

Additional Details:

  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
  • Travel Required: Less than 10%
  • Telecommuting Options: Remote
