Job summary

HomeServe USA is seeking a Data Analyst to bridge business goals and technical data solutions. You will gather and analyze requirements, work with SMEs to explore data, and develop data models while deconstructing Alteryx workflows and Tableau reports.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills, with travel up to 10% as needed and an annual bonus potential of 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a data-focused role.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Alteryx and Tableau reporting.
• Knowledgeable with conceptual, logical and physical data models.
• Familiarity with Transactional and Data Warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Understand current and future data requirements with SMEs and business analysts.
• Profile and analyze data from various sources using SQL and ensure data quality.
• Deconstruct Alteryx workflows and understand transformations from the business perspective.
• Document data flows and communicate steps of data analysis to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and suggest solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to review design code and test plans.
• Identify relevant data attributes and document inputs/outputs.
• Document data acquisition, integration, cleansing and monitoring processes.
• Perform routine ad-hoc data runs and respond to queries.
• Establish data validation frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability.
