Job description

A leading global professional services company is seeking a Data Analyst to provide quantitative support for a strategic philanthropy and employee engagement client team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys turning large datasets into actionable insights. You will compile reports, conduct audits, and find patterns in data covering grants, employee giving, and volunteering. Your findings will help the client make data driven decisions that direct millions of dollars to innovative nonprofits. If you have experience creating dashboards, cleaning data, and communicating insights to senior stakeholders, this data analyst position deserves your attention. You will work on a local fixed duration project with reduced travel, receiving competitive rewards and access to world class learning resources. This is not a remote everywhere role; you will work onsite in your local metro area as part of the Accenture Flex team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process data requests from various internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information

  2. Create dashboards and reports that visualize key metrics for grants, employee giving, and volunteering activities

  3. Conduct data audits and implement changes to clean up data, improving overall data quality and reliability

  4. Perform one off analyses for senior stakeholders to answer specific business questions or evaluate program effectiveness

  5. Communicate data insights in an actionable manner, translating complex findings into clear recommendations

  6. Contribute to the strategy and development of new workflows to scale client operations efficiently

  7. Manage technological solutions for streamlining quality assurance and producing scalable training solutions for emergent workflows

  8. Work closely with engineers and interact cross functionally with teams including policy, marketing, and legal to improve operational workflows via process improvements and automation

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is typically required, though equivalent work experience may be considered. You need proven experience in data analysis, including compiling reports, conducting audits, and finding insights from large datasets. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar is essential. Strong SQL skills for querying databases are expected. Experience with data cleaning and quality assurance processes is necessary. Excellent communication skills to present findings to non technical audiences are required. You should be comfortable working cross functionally with engineers, policy teams, marketing, and legal. Prior experience in philanthropy, grants management, or employee engagement is a plus but not mandatory. US work authorization is required. Candidates must reside within the local commuting area of the project location.

Benefits and Perks

This full time position pays an hourly rate of approximately USD 38 to USD 48, which is the current market range for a data analyst role in major US metro areas. Based on a forty hour week, annual earnings range from USD 79,000 to USD 100,000. You receive competitive rewards and access to benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. World class learning resources are available for professional development. The Accenture Flex model significantly reduces or eliminates travel demands, as you work onsite in your local metro area. You gain exposure to strategic philanthropy at scale, working with a client that grants millions annually. The role offers opportunities to contribute to workflow strategy and automation, building skills that are highly transferable.
