The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst who will be responsible for managing the full data flow necessary to provide actionable insights that support business objectives. You'll play a crucial role in transforming raw data into strategic intelligence that drives decision-making across our organization and empowers our clients.

In this position, you'll work with two main consumer groups: internal decision-makers including product managers, product designers, and department heads, as well as external customers who rely on insights to support their decision-making based on historical and forecasted performance.

Location requirement: For optimal collaboration and real-time communication with our core team, we’re only considering candidates currently based within approximately ±3 hours of the Rotterdam time zone.

What You'll Do

Data Infrastructure & Pipeline Management

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines, connecting all relevant data sources from sales, marketing, product, and finance

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting solutions

• Continuously improve and optimize reporting processes and tools

Analysis & Insights

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business objectives

• Analyze data sources and identify key metrics and performance indicators

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for various audiences

Reporting & Visualization

• Design and develop comprehensive reporting solutions, including interactive dashboards, visualizations, and detailed reports

• Create compelling data stories that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders

• Provide training and support to users on how to utilize reporting tools and interpret data

Continuous Learning

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to data analysis and reporting

• Identify opportunities to enhance our data capabilities and recommend new tools or methodologies

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on reporting and data analysis

• Strong understanding of data analysis and reporting methodologies

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python)

• Expert-level skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight)

• Proficiency in maintaining data pipelines using tools such as Airflow

• Experience with AWS data-related tools is a plus

• Experience with product metrics tooling like Amplitude is a plus

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team

• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality
