Job summary

SES in Reston, VA is seeking a Data Analyst to join our hybrid team, in-office 2-3 days weekly. You will leverage Python, PySpark, REST APIs, and AWS to process and analyze large datasets, build data models, and support AI-enabled products.

The role demands strong communication, independence, and hands-on Generative AI expertise, including AI agents, RAG, and enterprise AI integration, with a focus on scalable data architectures.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and PySpark for data processing, analytics, and automation.
• Experience designing data pipelines, data models, and scalable data processing.
• Strong ability to work with REST APIs and integrate data across enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS) and serverless architectures.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and analysis.

Job Description:

• Local candidates preferred, with an expectation to be in Reston Town Center 3 per week
• Excellent communication and written skills

• Hands-on Generative AI and LLM expertise, including AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Amazon Bedrock, and enterprise AI integration.
• Strong data architecture and engineering skills, including designing data pipelines, data models, integrations, and scalable processing of large datasets.
• Strong Python and PySpark development skills for data processing, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled applications.
• Experience designing AI-enabled products, translating business and product requirements into practical technical architectures and implementation approaches.
• Strong API and systems integration experience, including REST APIs and connecting applications, data platforms, AI services, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with modern cloud-native and serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, containers, and event-driven workflows.
