Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Reporting and Analytics Data Analyst Principal to support the Indian Health Service PATH EHR modernization program, improving patient experience and care quality across 600 facilities in 37 states.

You will partner with IHS, Oracle Health, and S&P to define reporting requirements, explain analytics details, and help stakeholders adopt new functionality with technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of experience in Healthcare IT reporting & analytics roles.
• Must have current working knowledge of Oracle Health’s EHR suite.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Cross-walking legacy report functionality to new system functionalities including reports, workflows, registries, mpages, etc.
• Provides technical expertise in helping stakeholders understand report and analytic details and underlying logic.
• Assist users with adopting new or existing functionality through technical documentation.
• Contributes to robust data governance policies and ensures secure access to analytics assets.
• Act as subject matter expert in a matrixed team gathering reporting requirements and aligning with vendor roadmaps.

Job Description:

Join the growing Team at GDIT as a Reporting and Analytics Data Analyst Principal to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record Modernization Program known as Patients at the Heart (PATH) EHR. Your efforts will serve to improve the patient experience and quality of care for over 600 facilities across 37 states serving the American Indian and Alaska Native populations.

This position will partner with GDIT Leadership as well as IHS, Oracle Health, and S&P associates to help provide technical expertise in helping stakeholders within the organization understand potential reporting & analytic products and functionalities.

This role requires you to obtain and maintain an in-depth Public Trust Level 5. This investigation will review personal and criminal behavior, financial conduct, foreign influence, as well as other adjudications.

How a Reporting and Analytics Data Analyst Principal will make an impact:

• Cross-walking legacy report functionality to new system functionalities including reports, workflows, registries, mpages, etc.
• Provides technical expertise in helping stakeholders within the organization understand report and analytic details including underlying logic, platform or tool functionalities, etc.
• Assist users in adopting new or existing functionality through technical documentation or standard operating procedures type documentation.
• Contributes to the implementation of robust data governance policies, and ensures compliant, role-based access to sensitive analytics assets.
• Be trusted to be a subject matter expert in a matrixed team responsible for assisting in gathering reporting requirements, understanding and applying vendor technology roadmaps, ensuring standards integration within the products, and health information management compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ years of experience in Healthcare IT reporting & analytics roles
• Must have current working knowledge of Oracle Health’s EHR suite
• Must have experience managing multiple resources and complex projects
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience implementing Oracle Health’s solution suite
• Experience supporting Federal EHR programs

The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
