Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation is seeking a data analytics liaison to bridge business partners and information services teams. You will shape data capture and build visualization dashboards to deliver insights for the Providence Clinical Network.

The role emphasizes understanding clinical workflows, validating requirements with users, and driving productivity improvements through analytics and reporting. Strong SQL and healthcare analytics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Under the direction of the Manager Provider Network Performance, this position serves as a liaison between business partners and information services teams to identify effective capture, analysis and visualization of data. This role will contribute to the development, design and reporting analysis for the Providence Clinical Network and requires a strong knowledge of business operations in a clinical environment. Able to identify business requirements, research optional solutions, facilitate system design and user validation testing, and advocate for productivity/process improvements. Focus on data and providing insight to others via visualization dashboards or other mediums.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business, or related field or Relevant experience and/or appropriate certifications may be substituted.
• Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 2 years of Hands-on experience with ambulatory information systems and/or analytic systems (practice management, claims management, or electronic health record system).

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with querying data using SQL.
• 2 years of experience and understanding of various Value-Based Care contract models and familiarity with financial and utilization tactics used to improve performance with managed care populations.
• 2 years of Healthcare information systems experience applying analytical methodologies, with specific experience utilizing business and/or clinical applications.
• Customer support experience.
• Experience with system integration and electronic data interchange.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
