Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst III to deliver final business solutions through Power BI experiences for the operations team. You will shape data into a crisp design, acting as a domain expert in supply chains, and drive analytics initiatives on Ryder's Azure Data Lake.

You will design critical dashboards, reports and queries to enable strategic decisions and prescriptive insights, collaborating with analysts and scientists to push analytics beyond simple reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA or equivalent.
• 2+ years creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across the business; cloud environment experience.
• 2+ years in Applied Project(s) showing digital transformation and data management.
• 4+ years in an individual contributor role as a key team member.

Responsibilities

• Develop Dashboards by understanding business needs, interpret the integrated data and translate this into usable visualizations to drive business decisions.
• Engage the business, evaluating their needs and ad-hoc requests to prioritize product efforts creating new innovative solutions.
• Enhance data maturity and integration to standardize the core value add functionality enabling a multiplier effect.
• Collaborate with team and mentor junior members to achieve success.
• Challenge the status quo and help guide entrepreneurial innovation in analytical products and data sources to deliver actionable insights.
• Knowledge of Ryder Business and supply chain domain to drive analytics strategy.
