Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions (AGS) is seeking a data visualization professional to own the full lifecycle of dashboard delivery for our analytics team, supporting Samsung through AGS. You will lead end-to-end development, governance, and post-production support to deliver impactful dashboards.

The role emphasizes Tableau development, BigQuery data connections, and advanced SQL with an eye toward AI-assisted visualization and rapid prototyping. This is a contract role with AGS employment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Tableau development.
• 2+ years of Tableau Server/Online administration.
• 3+ years with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouse.
• 3+ years of advanced SQL programming.
• 2+ years designing and working with dimensional data models.
• Proven experience creating mockups and wireframes for stakeholder review.
• Experience in analytics or customer care domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data visualization professional to join our analytics team. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of dashboard delivery — from requirements gathering and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and post-production support. You will serve as both a hands‑on developer and a platform administrator, building impactful, high-performance dashboards while ensuring governance, scalability, and best practices across the analytics environment. You will also play a key role in exploring and integrating Generative AI capabilities to accelerate and enhance data visualization workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end dashboard delivery including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations connected to Google BigQuery
• Create and optimize dimensional data models for efficient and scalable reporting
• Develop complex calculated fields, parameters, LOD expressions, and table calculations
• Build reusable templates, style guides, and dashboard frameworks to ensure consistency across the platform
• Optimize workbook performance through efficient data extracts, query tuning, and aggregation strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Create mockup visualizations and wireframes after stakeholder meetings to validate requirements and design direction before full-scale development
• Manage Tableau Server/Online site configuration, user access, permissions, and security
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of the reporting platform
• Implement and enforce Tableau best practices for development, naming conventions, and documentation
• Manage data sources, schedules, subscriptions, and alert configurations
• Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to business users
• Establish governance policies for content publishing, certification, and lifecycle management
• Explore and implement Generative AI tools to enhance data analytics and visualization workflows
• Leverage AI-assisted features for dashboard creation, natural language queries, and insight generation
• Use Gen AI tools to accelerate mockup creation and rapid prototyping of visualization concepts
• Stay current with emerging trends in AI-powered analytics and recommend adoption strategies
• Document and share best practices for AI-enhanced visualization development

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau Desktop development including LOD expressions, table calculations, and parameters
• Strong expertise in Google BigQuery and cloud data warehouse technologies
• Advanced SQL programming skills including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization
• Experience designing and working with dimensional data models
• Tableau Server/Online administration including user management, permissions, and site governance
• Ability to create wireframes and mockups for iterative stakeholder review and design validation
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their application in analytics and visualization workflows
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Knowledge of PII data handling and encryption standards
• Experience with version control tools such as Git, TabDiff, tabcmd, or the Tableau REST API
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools such as Jira
• Exposure to the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem
• Familiarity with Apache Superset dashboard development and migration
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration within analytics workflows

Experience

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Tableau development
• 2+ years of Tableau Server/Online administration experience
• 3+ years of experience working with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses
• 3+ years of advanced SQL programming experience
• 2+ years of experience designing and working with dimensional data models
• Proven experience creating mockups and wireframes for stakeholder review and iterative design
• Experience in customer care or analytics domains is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate certification preferred

• Duration: 12 Months
• Pay Range*: $44-$48
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
• Job Status: Non-Exempt
