Centene Corporation is seeking a Data Analyst to manage analytic data needs for the business unit and lead other analysts. The role involves extracting, modeling, and reconciling large data sets, and creating dashboards in Power BI using Snowflake, Control-M, and enterprise reporting.

Strong SQL skills and project leadership are preferred. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of data analysis experience, with healthcare experience a plus.

Position Purpose: Responsible for analytic data needs of the business unit. Handle complex data projects and acts as a lead for other Data Analysts.

Key Details: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment‑based visa types H‑1B, L‑1, O‑1, H‑1B1, F‑1, J‑1, OPT, or CPT.

Prefer candidates who have advanced SQL and Power BI skills writing their own code, stored procedures, and SSIS packages. Experience creating dashboards within Power BI, utilizing Snowflake, Control‑M, and enterprise reporting preferred. Prefer candidates who have led projects and teams.

• Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting.
• Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources.
• Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management.
• Develop reports and deliverables for management.
• Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data ware house analytical tools.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.
• Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience managing projects or heavy involvement in project implementation.

Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
