Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Data Analyst to support analytic data needs for the business unit. You will lead complex data projects, develop dashboards in Power BI, and work with Snowflake and Control-M. Strong SQL skills and prior project leadership are preferred.

Healthcare analytics experience is a plus. Responsibilities include data extraction, modeling, quality audits, and mentoring other analysts.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced analytical support for business operations (claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting).
• Extract, load, model, and reconcile large data across multiple systems.
• Review data to determine operational impacts; elevate issues and opportunities to management.
• Develop reports and deliverables for management.
• Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, or other data warehousing tools.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements through data quality audits.

Job description

Position Purpose:

Responsible for analytic data needs of the business unit. Handle complex data projects and acts as a lead for other Data Analysts.

Key Details:

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.

Prefer candidates who have advanced SQL and Power BI skills writing their own code, stored procedures, and SSIS packages. Experience creating dashboards within Power BI, utilizing Snowflake, Control-M, and enterprise reporting preferred. Prefer candidates who have led projects and teams.

• Provide advanced analytical support for business operations in all or some of the following areas: claims, provider data, member data, clinical data, HEDIS, pharmacy, external reporting.
• Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources.
• Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, trends, areas for improvement and opportunities to management.
• Develop reports and deliverables for management.
• Model data using MS Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data ware house analytical tools.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state deliverable reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis.
• Assist with training and mentoring other Data Analysts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4+ years of statistical analysis or data analysis experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience managing projects or heavy involvement in project implementation.

Pay Range:

$70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year
